Dickie Noles
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Dickie Ray Noles (born November 19, 1956 in Charlotte, North Carolina) was a Pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies (1979-81 and 1990), Chicago Cubs (1982-84 and 1987), Texas Rangers (1984-85), Cleveland Indians (1986), Detroit Tigers (1987) and Baltimore Orioles (1988).
Noles is the only player in Major League Baseball history to be traded for himself in a bizzare deal between the Chicago Cubs and the Detroit Tigers. Chicago let Noles go to Detroit for a "To be named later" player, which would ultimatly be Noles.
