Talk:Dionne Warwick
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Removed the following paragraph, which I think is unneeded, as it just repeats what has been said before: Her career stalled in the 1970s until she had a hit duet with The Spinners entitled "Then Came You" in 1974. A few years later, in 1979, she struck gold again with "I'll Never Love This Way Again".

Could you write about the huge concert that was given in January 2006, at the Kodak Theather, Los Angeles, Ca., in honor of Ms. Warwick's achievements. Everybody, who is Anybody, was there. It is supposed to be televised. I hope it winds up on DVD. I was there and it was a once-in-a-lifetime show.24.92.62.178 02:27, 26 April 2006 (UTC)Bennett Turk

[edit] Removed uncited slur
"She was often referred to as Nostrildamus (a portmanteau of nostril and Nostradamus) by numerous comedians and late night talk hosts, due to her large nostrils and affiliation with this venture."
This comment is unattributed, mean-spirited, inaccurate and possibly racist. She was often referred to by this name? By numerous comedians? It may well have happened once or twice, but a Google search reveals absolutely no non-wikipedia hits for Nostrildamus + Dionne Warwick. I've removed it.
[edit] Super Password
I was just wondering if there should be any mention of her appearances on the game show Super Password. 64.12.116.8 20:05, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Host of "Solid Gold"
Does anyone know the time period in which Dionne Warwick was the host of the TV music show "Solid Gold"? I know she was the host of the original 2-hour special in 1979 and the first host of the regular series, but I do not have any citable references. Respectfully, SamBlob 22:43, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Theft from charity.
I'm gonna start some sort of criticism section for her theft of charity money from a benefit concert. Sticky-fingered bitch.
