Dirceu Lopes

Dirceu Lopes, full name Dirceu Lopes Mendes, (born September 3, 1946, in Pedro Leopoldo) was a Brazilian football player. He was attacking midfielder and forward, mainly with Cruzeiro.
He had 19 caps with the Brazilian national team (4 goals).[citation needed]

- 1978 – 1979 : Uberlândia
He was a favorite player of Cruzeiro, and played 594 matches for the club, scoring 224 goals.[citation needed]
In 1971 he was designated as the best player in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A (Brazilian championship) by Placar Magazine.
