[edit] Shows
The Disney Channel Australia features many of the shows the U.S. version broadcasts. Like the UK variation, it was initially aimed at both children and their families, though in recent years the focus has shifted towards children only.[citation needed] Sometimes the channel also airs shows made in Australia, such as Parallax and Wicked Science.
Often television shows are shown on Disney Channel Australia a few months after their US counterparts, although there are some exceptions.

[edit] Logos
[edit] Logo Variations
Prior to 2003, Disney Channel's logo consisted of three circles which resembled a silhouette of Mickey Mouse's head. The logo was the basis for the channel's wide range of impressive computer-generated idents, in which Mickey's silhouette was formed from various animated objects. These objects include:
- Two electric scoreboard ears and a soccer ball
- Two cricket balls and a basket ball
- Two suns and a fan
- Two spinning top and ???
- two red splats and a blue splat
- two ??? and a silver blob (in the background a visible image of a science lab)
- two glass balls and a static charger
This list is incomplete and additional idents would be appreciated
[edit] Disney Channel Website
The Disney Channel website has the same layout as most of the other Disney Channel websites. The website includes information on the channels television programmes & movies as well as fun games, interactive section and downloads.
