Sciatica Decompression Home Remedy

One "home remedy" to decompress your spine to ease sciatica is to hang from a pair of crutches.

Place the crutches under the arms, lean back against a door or other surface you can slide down and will not mark.

SLOWLY lower your weight onto the crutches, while letting your body slide downwards against the wall. Wiggle your hips from side to side and back and forth. Do this for about ten seconds, then a break for a total of three times in a session.

Your shoulders will come up to your ears, and your knees will be bent.

The weight of your lower body will be the traction force that stretches your spine.

This is incredibly useful to me as I might often be bent over after sitting at my desk. A quick session of decompression fixes that up and allows me to be pain free. Others contend that the continued use of this technique over time (20 or more sessions) can allow the herniated disks to heal.
