[edit] History
Randy Davis started Divine Comedy sometime between 1981 and 1983 (the web site states ©2002-2004 and the FAQ says Divine Comedy started "11 years ago").[2] Divine Comedy was once a club under the BYU Student Association, but BYUSA became "increasingly uncomfortable with us" and the troupe is now sponsored by the Theatre Media Arts Department.[3]
[edit] Performers
Divine Comedy holds auditions every September for new members to replace ones that have moved on.[4][2] The group practices together for over 40 hours before each show.[5] Information about the cast, crew, and alumni can be found on the Bios page.
[edit] Publications
Divine Comedy has made available on their website videos of a number of their skits as well as other original videos[1]. Parodies of Mormon Ads (called Mormon Adz) can also be found on the website[2]. Divine Comedy has also made a CD[3] and a DVD entitled Divine Comedy: Pro Tour Volume 1[4].
