Domenico Cutaia

Domenico "Danny" Cutaia (b. November 22, 1936) is a Brooklyn mafioso and captain in the Lucchese crime family. Cutaia's crew is based in Brooklyn, and he became a leader in the Brooklyn faction of the Luccheses after the takedowns of captains George Conte, George Zapolla, and Frank "Frankie Bones" Papagni. Cutaia was busted for loan sharking in the mid-1990s, and has steared clear from trouble since. His son Salvatore is a Lucchese soldier, as is his son-in-law John Baudanza. Baudanza was busted in 2006 for operating a multi-million dollar stock fraud scam in conjunction with the Colombo crime family, of which part of the profits were funneled to Cutaia, who was not charged with any crimes.
