Don Fendler is a motivational speaker who travels through many schools and camps in Maine.[1]

When Donn Fendler was 12, he spent 9 days lost on Mt. Katahdin, wandering alone in search of help. His journey was eventually recorded in "Lost on a Mountain in Maine" and became a moderate success. Now 78 years old, Donn Fendler spends his time traveling through many schools and camps in Maine, telling his story to young children and preaching the message of outdoor safety, and staying with one's group when traveling outdoors in unfamiliar areas.
