Donald R. Bensen

Donald Roynald Bensen, (1927-1997) was an American publisher and science fiction writer. Sometimes listed as "R.D. Bensen"
Best known of his writings was the 1978 alternative history novel, And Having Writ…, published first by Bobbs-Merrill.
Bensen was appointed editor of Pyramid Publications in 1957, and, later, the Berkely Publishing Corporation of New York. He was also associated with the Mystery Writers of America. Bensen was involved with the re-issue of P. G. Wodehouse's works in paperback in the United States.
