Donna Williams (born December 10, 1978 in England) is one of the co-founders of the Neopets web corporation, along with Adam Powell. Williams mostly works on artwork, storylines, marketing and merchandising while Powell's emphasis is programming and the creative side.
Prior to Neopets, Williams was a marketing manager for Shout! Advertising from September 1997 to July 1999, responsible for internet advertising, sales and services, graphic and web design. From July 1999 to early 2000, Williams worked at Speedyclick.com.[1]
She currently splits her time between the US and UK along with her long time boyfriend and two cats. She likes music, going out with friends and playing computer games. Her favorite bands include Pulp, The Killers, Prodigy and Supergrass.
Her nickname is Pop Tart, and has a plushie in her likeness. There is also a Neopets avatar named for her. On her Neopets account, donna, she has a "Root Canal" trophy, a Bori named Buckley, a Nimmo named Shoyshoy, a Ruki named thyassa, and a Peophin named Uni. She says that she makes "a mean quesadilla", and "a pretty delicious shepherd's pie". [2].
Donna runs daily content on the site, providing daily news. She also makes sure all drawings are correct for the site. She works on the merchandise side of the company.
