Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.
Kim & Christine decide to visit their parents. Greg doesn't want to go and talks his way out of it. When Greg drops them off at the airport and goes on the airliner to help Kim with Sammy's car seat. The plane takes off with Greg on it so he is stuck going. Greg is stuck going on one of the worst trips ever.
