Talk:Donny Osmond
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This article requires a large amount of expansion. Especially, in relation to Donny's success as ateen idol in th early '70s. Donny was absolutely massive in the UK in 1972 / 1973 and this needs to be emphasised. Osmondmania type fan worship had not been seen in the UK since The Beatles.
The part played by Tony Prince and Radio Luxembourg in the early 70s in introducing Donny and the Osmonds to a Europea audience could also be included.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 62.31.78.228 (talk • contribs) 2006-05-30 17:26:20.
- I agree! Why don't you add some content? DavidBailey 22:37, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
Why does it list a death date?Just curious, since its a date in the future.
[edit] Trivia
Moving the trivia into the article has left the text feeling disjointed, and some of the trivia was removed. I think it would be better to pull these various interesting tidbits back into a trivia or "fun facts" section and leave the narrative for substantial events in chronological order. [edit] White & Nerdy video(s)
Donny appeared for about 30 seconds of footage in Weird Al's "White & Nerdy" video. A bluescreen take ([1]) was released on YouTube about two weeks ago by a user who might be Weird Al ([2]), or at least a representative. The bluescreen take features Donny dancing while Weird Al raps, for the entire duration of the song. Hilarious, to be sure, but would it be appropriate to note this, in this article?
