Don Conquistador is the alias of a student in California.

At the start of high school, he used the Spanish name Raúl in his Spanish classes. During 2005, this name grew longer and longer until it received its final augmentation, becoming Don Raúl el Conquistador de Tu Corazón, Nuestro Rey y Salvador de Humanidad which translated to Don Raúl the Conqueror of Your Heart, Our King and Savior of Humanity. He currently goes by Don Conquistador, or Don Conqui, as his close friends call him.

Don Conquistador is known for his dry humor and quick wit. He is enrolled in many Honors and AP classes, although he dislikes many of them due to the quantity of work given. Don Conquistador has a love for foreign music, especially Spanish, including artists such as Luis Miguel, Juanes, and Laura Pausini. A self proclaimed Hopeless Romantic.

Don Conquistador started to take Spanish in 2004. He was able to take both Spanish 2 and 3 in the 2004-2005 school year due to an irregular form of the block schedule used at his school in which the students take 3 classes for half the year and then switch to 3 different ones at the end of January allowing the students to "double up" or to repeat a class they failed. Currently enroled in Spanish 4 which will finish at the end of January, Don Conquistador has been fascinated by the idea of learning other languages. He has made attempts to learn Japanese in addition to Spanish.

Don Conquistador started learning Spanish in 2004 at his highschool as a freshman. He quickly moved through the classes finally reaching a point which he could not be helped much by the classes, but rather would need to travel and be forced to speak Spanish. He then had an open term in his 2006 spring and was planning to take woodshop but because the class was full, he had to take another class in its place. He decided to ask if there was an open slot in the French 1 class that period. It was open and so he enroled and took the class. Because of his knowledge of spanish, another Romance language, he was able to get very high marks in the class without studying, ultimately having the highest score in the class. In the summer of 2006, he took a college level 2 course at his local community college, Moorpark College, through the highschool special admissions program. This enabled him to go straight into French 4 AP when he arrived back at his highschool in August. He had also planned to take Japanese, German, and Italian that summer, but was only allowed to take 9 credits. Language classes are each 4 so this limited him to only 2 classes. He planned to take italian and french. That summer he also became employed my Target_Corporation and dropped the Italian class because he would not have been able to work since it started at 6 pm and his french class ended at 12 pm. The college was about half an hour away, and so this would not have allowed him to work as much as they would have liked. He had planned to take these classes because he has two friends who speak German and Italian and also because they are all the languages which are offered at the college. The only other language class offered is Hebrew. He had planned to take highschool French 2 and 3 in his senior year, but went straight into French 4 AP because of his college class. Now instead of French 3, he has an open period meaning that he can leave school at 11:40 am every day starting January 29, 2007. He is taking both Japanese and Italian as night classes at Moorpark, both of which started on January 8th, 2007.

DC enjoys all things related to languages. He loves the Japanese culture and plans to go there in April of 2007. He likes making anything he can out of wood abd likes to cook Japanese cuisine.
