Hi, I'm Alex. I am a huge fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which I consider a masterpiece of Contemporary mythology. I also love Fray, Angel, Firefly and all things Joss Whedon. I'm proud of my contributions to Project Buffy and I'm also the founder of Project Alias, somehow not that popular :(
I admire Terry Pratchett's early Discworld books and currently I'm listening to Nanase Aikawa and Ian Van Dahl most of the time. My favourite movies are Dark City and Le Pacte des Loups. I'm also a fan of Lost, Smallville, 24, The O.C., Prison Break and serialized fiction in general.
Also I have to mention Silent Hill (video game) for being the only really scary videogame ever created, which is no small feat. Silent Hill 2 is great too, but more like what you could call "horror melancholy". Playing Silent Hill alone at night will make you think twice before going to the bathroom. Or leaving the room at all, for that matter.

I have (half a) degree in English Philology (unfinished business... hehe). I also like surfing the web, reading the occasional book, trying to play chess and actually playing old arcade games in MAME. I also collect elderly LCD games and game consoles.
