Dots and Loops is an album by the band Stereolab, released on September 23, 1997. It was produced in Chicago by John McEntire and with Sean O'Hagan helping out on keyboards and brass and string arrangements, except tracks 3, 5 and 10, which were recorded in Düsseldorf with Mouse on Mars.
The Japanese pressing features an extra track, "Off-On", which is taken from the Miss Modular CD single.

The track "Parsec" was featured in a series of ads featuring the return of the Volkswagen Bug.
Nevertheless, Stereolab claim to be inspired by some of the anti-capitalist ideas of Deleuze and Guattari.
