Douglas Clayton Durdle (born September 1, 1972 in Reading, Berkshire) is a British professional wrestler best known by his stage name, Doug Williams. Williams is currently working for independent promotions in the UK and abroad, including the Frontier Wrestling Alliance (FWA) and Ring of Honor (ROH).
Williams is best known for his submission style of British wrestling, earning him the name "The Human Torture Device", and his use of his knees as an offensive weapon.

During the 1990s Williams trained with (and wrestled for) NWA UK Hammerlock. In 1999 he took part in the first televised British Wrestling show in nearly a decade.
During 2001 Doug Williams wrestled 135 matches, including tours to Germany and Northern Ireland, plus in the US, it was at this time Williams began to work in the FWA.
While competing in FWA's King of England tournament Williams wrestled and won a match against Eddie Guerrero. Williams would also go on to become the promotion's top champion.
During 2002 and a small part of 2003, Williams went on a tour around the United States making notable appearances in Ring of Honor. During his time in ROH, Williams would win a match for both ROH's #1 Contender Trophy and FWA's British Heavyweight Championship; both then being held by Christopher Daniels at the time. Williams would also win ROH's Pure Wrestling Championship. By 2004, Williams would begin touring with Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan where he would become a Global Honored Crown Tag Team Champion with Scorpio.
Doug Williams continued to win many foreign and local championships, even defeating "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson in the final of a tournament in Rethel, France on May 6, 2005 to became the first International Catch Wrestling Alliance World Heavyweight Champion.
While World Wrestling Entertainment was touring England in November 2006, Williams made a dark match appearance in a losing effort to WWE wrestler Carlito.
Outside of the ring Williams is NOAH's European ambassador and is respociable for the increase of Japanese talent travelling to the UK for performances. Williams also teamed up with ROH head of European Marketing and fellow British wrestler Alex Shane to organise the King of Europe Tournament.
