Talk:Dover Air Force Base
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] Dover AFB, DE
I am stationed at Dover and while reading this article I noticed that it states:
It is the only base to solely operate the massive C-5 Galaxy, with two active squadrons (the 3rd Airlift and 9th Airlift) and one Reserve (the 512th).
This is not technically correct. It actually has 4 Squadrons assigned to 2 Wings. The Active duty has the 436th Airlift Wing containing the 3rd and 9th Squadrons and the Reserve has the 512th Airlift Wing containing the 326th and 709th Squadrons. I tried to edit but was unsuccessful. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 12.150.19.66 (talk) 04:07, 13 January 2007 (UTC).
