Dow Jones STOXX 50

Dow Jones STOXX 50 is a stock index of European stocks designed by STOXX Limited, a joint venture of Deutsche Boerse AG, Dow Jones and SWX Group. Its goal is "to provide a blue-chip representation of Supersector leaders in Europe" according to STOXX. In contrast to the Dow Jones EURO STOXX 50, this index also covers European companies outside the Eurozone.
