Dragon Court is an online MMORPG developed by Fred Haslam.

You take the role of a "young hero rising from the plebium masses" and become a hero of Salamander Township.
[edit] Gameplay
The game is unique in that the players have a limited number of "quests" in which they do things. When the quests run out, that player can't do anything again until the game-timer resets, which occurs every 24 hours at 0:00 GMT. There used to be a feature where if a player found an item called a 'cookie' that would replenish their quests for that day, however it has since been taken out of the game.
Players encounter a variety of creatures while they play, and can interact in a variety of ways with the creature. Wild animals can be given food, people who need help can be assisted, and all kinds of other commands can be done depending on the critter encountered.
There are also numerous places wherein one can explore.

Although it's not necessary to take Guilds, any player can take any number of levels in a guild, limited by their level.
[edit] Warrior
Warriors gain the ability "Berzerk", which allows them to attack for more damage during combat. Also gives 1 extra attack point. Also if you go into the Queen's court this job helps your "boasting" ability.
[edit] Merchant
Merchants gain the abilities "Swindle" and "Backstab". Some monsters can be swindled into surrendering all of their possessions. Other monsters can be attacked with a backstab. Also grants 1 extra defense point. This job also assists playing "Dice" in the Queen's court.
[edit] Mage
Mages gain the ability "Mesmerize", which allows them to hypnotize an enemy to surrender some of their equipment. Increased Mage levels also give the hero the ability to use different gems to cause certain effects. This job also assists you if you are trying to "Mingle" the Queen's court.
[edit] Sage
Sages gain a passive ability to resist against "Mesmerize", "Backstab", and "Ieatsu".
[edit] Bushido
Only available after the player gains access to "Shangala" where he/she can fight a "Samurai" to gain a "Bushido" token this item must be given to another "Samurai" in order to learn the skill "Ieatsu".
[edit] Equipment
Players will come across a variety of weapons and armor, all of which have varying bonuses. Two Rusty Daggers, for example, may have two different attack values.
There are five different slots that a player can equip things on.
- Head
- Body
- Feet
- Right hand
- Left hand
[edit] Stats
Stats are earned by gaining levels and by adventuring. (After every encounter with a hostile NPC, there's a chance that a stat will increase based on what the player does.)

- Do more damage with attacks
- Take less damage from attacks
- Able to attack more difficult opponents without dying
[edit] Wits
- Answer riddles
- Resist "Mesmerize"
- "Enchant" weapons with a greater success rate.
[edit] Charm
- Feeding, seducing, and bribing
- Increases the selling price of items in-game
[edit] Forums
While internet forums are not required for gameplay, they do add a way to trade, learn, and interact with your fellow players. While strictly moderated, they have a forum for most topics, including role players.
This is the main multiplayer aspect of the game and the community is helpful, dynamic, and entertaining.
