In the episode Drew and the Baby of the Drew Carey Show, Drew is still in a coma, and Mimi is giving birth. In Drew's coma, he meets Mimi's child. When asked about the newborn's parents, he used Beauty and the Beast for an example ("You see, your mom is the beast"). Terrified of his "beast" mother, Drew switches places with him to prove that Mimi is not a beast, instead a caring and loving mother.
