Drucilla Barber Winters is a fictional character on CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless. Victoria Rowell portrayed the character from 1990 to 2007 (she departed the show in 1998, returned in 2000 and then returned again in 2002). She was temporarily replaced by Dawn McMillan in 1996 and by Kent Masters King in 2000.

Drucilla "Dru" Barber ran away from home as a teenager, due to her problematic relationship with her mother. In so doing, she sacrificed her opportunity for a promising career as a ballerina. Drucilla suffered from illiteracy, but was taught to read by private detective Nathan Hastings, once illiterate himself. Drucilla eventually married Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John), but only after Drucilla repeatedly made mistakes, including posing nude for Senuality magazine. Jill Abbott discovered and destroyed the film. Over time, Dru eventually evolved into a glamorous model. Dru's marriage to Neil ultimately collapsed because her desire for a career clashed with his desire for a wife who stayed home. However, they remarried in Japan in 2003.
One of Y&R's major plot elements over the past decade has been the mystery surrounding paternity of Dru's now-teenaged daughter, Lily (Christel Khalil) - Dru, who was incapacitated due to medication, slept with Neil's brother, Malcolm (Shemar Moore), nine months before Lily was born. Dru and Malcolm agreed to keep this incident a secret from Neil. In 2004, a presumed dead Malcolm returned to Genoa City with a new outlook on life. The question of Lily's paternity resurfaced and a paternity test was run, revealing Malcolm to be Lily's biological father.
In early 2006, Lily (then played by Davetta Sherwood) and Neil learned the truth. Neil wondered if would ever be able to forgive Dru for her betrayal. Recently, Dru has gotten more and more out of control with her jealousy. Realizing Neil was attracted to Carmen Mesta (Marisa Ramirez), Dru ransacked Carmen's room at the Genoa City Athletic Club after convincing a maid to let her in illegally. Drucilla used scissors to ruin many expensive clothing items belonging to Carmen.
She was arrested for this burglary, and was released pending trial. Though Neil was very much attracted to Carmen, he had to stop the relationship because of the drama Drucilla was creating, the problems for their family.
As part of her probation, Drucilla must see a therapist. When Carmen scheduled an out of town trip for Drucilla, Drucilla attacked Carmen in the offices at Newman Enterprises, threatening Carmen to change her plans. The entire attack was caught on a video tape which was left running by Nick Newman's son; Noah. When Phyllis Newman edited the tape for Noah, she found the attack, and gave a copy to Carmen, who then gave a copy to David Chow as well as the district attorney. Drucilla was fired by Victoria Newman for her behavior.
Soon, Carmen was found murdered outside the new jazz club belonging to the Winters family. Dru's adopted son Devon Hamilton (Bryton) was arrested for the crime, and awaits trial. Carmen's former fiance; David Chow arrived in town to avenge her death. At present, the trial has been delayed due to the kidnapping of Lauren Fenmore Baldwin and her infant son; Michael Baldwin's wife and child. Now the charges against Devon have been dropped because Kevin Fisher is now being charged with Carmen's murder.
Drucilla, likely having bouts of guilt, is imagining Carmen calling her cell phone and showing up in various places. Drucilla is convinced someone is moving things around in her apartment. At one point, Drucilla's clothing was destroyed much like Carmen's wardrobe. Dru was now committed into a mental hospital after throwing a camera and shattering a glass that hit her daughter Lily's face when nobody would believe that Carmen is alive.
Drucilla has since been released from the hospital after Carmen's cousin, Ines(a dead ringer for Carmen) turned up in Genoa City looking for answers regarding the death of her cousin. Drucilla is currently glowing in the news of her husband, Neil being appointed to the Newman Board of Directors. One thing Drucilla is not happy about is the fact that Phyllis is blackmailing Sharon with her affair with Brad Carlton.
