Dušan Galis

Dušan Galis (born November 24, 1949, Ružomberok) is former Slovak football player and trainer.
He played for Slovan Bratislava (1977-81, Cádiz (1981-82), Žilina (1982), Hasselt (1982-83) and ZŤS Petržalka (1983-84).
In Czechoslovak league he played 226 matches and with 89 goals. He was capped 8 times for Czechoslovakia, scored 1 goal. He was a participant at the 1976 European Football Championship.
He coached Slovan Bratislava (1990-97), Spartak Trnava (1997-99), Omonia Nicosia (1999), Artmedia (2000-02). After mutual agreement with the head of Slovak Football Association, František Laurinec, he resigned from his position of head coach of Slovak national footbal team.
Since 2006 has been a Member of National Council of the Slovak Republic.
