Duane Martin (born on January 1, 1970 in Hollywood, California,is an African-American film and television actor.

He is a graduate of New York University and played on their basketball team. He was noticed by the New York Knicks and after graduating they signed him. While playing for the New York Knicks he had an injury which led him to retire from the National Basketball Association. Duane has been married to former Martin & My Wife and Kids star Tisha Campbell since August 17, 1996. Together they have son Xen Martin born August 8, 2001.
He is the owner of Impact Sports a company that represents professional athlethes.[1]

He first made his TV appearance in the short-lived NBC comedy series Out All Night,which also starred Patti LaBelle, Vivica A. Fox and Morris Chestnut. He also appeared in the Boys II Men music video "I'll Make Love to You"
He returned to TV with Vivica A. Fox and Jon Cryer in the short-lived FOX sitcom Getting Personal.
Currently, he protrays TV reporter Robert James on The CW TV series All Of Us. The show also stars LisaRaye,Tony Rock, and Khamani Griffin.
