Dundas streetcar with Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) in background
I captured this picture of the Dundas Street streetcar, just a couple of minutes before the sun set (6:20pm), at a time of year when the sun shines nicely down Dundas Street (2004 October 10th).
--Actually this is a diverted route 506 ("Carlton") streetcar, not a route 505 ("Dundas") streetcar. Much of the trackage used by the 506 Carlton car was completely reconstructed during 2004 [1]. The Carlton car seen here will head west on Dundas St., north on Ossington Ave., and west on College St, where it returns to its regular College, Dundas, and Howard Park routing to High Park loop.
