Durgapur Steel Plant

Durgapur Steel Plant is one of the integrated steel plants of Steel Authority of India Limited, located in Durgapur, in the eastern Indian state of West Bengal. It is one of the plants that have played a historically important part in the industrial development of India. Although not a separate company, it is the largest industrial unit in the state of West Bengal and has a turnover that is higher than that of many a company.^{[citation needed]}
