Elinor Ostrom (* 1933) ist Professorin für Politikwissenschaft an der Indiana University Bloomington.
International bekannt wurde sie vor allem mit ihrem Buch "Governing the Commons: The Evolution of Institutions for Collective Action" (dt.: Die Verfassung der Allmende, Tübingen 1999).
