Dies ist keine automatisch erstellte Nachricht. Ich habe gesehen, dass du vor kurzem angefangen hast, dich an der Wikipedia zu beteiligen. Weil deine Diskussionsseite aber noch leer ist, möchte ich dich kurz begrüßen.

Für den Einstieg empfehle ich dir das Tutorial und Wie schreibe ich gute Artikel. Wenn du neue Artikel anlegen willst, kannst du dich an anderen des selben Themenbereichs orientieren. Ganz wichtig sind dabei stets Quellenangaben, welche deine Bearbeitung belegen. Wenn du erstmal etwas ausprobieren willst, ist hier Platz dafür. Bitte beachte, dass die Wikipedia ausschließlich der Erstellung einer Enzyklopädie dient und zur Zusammenarbeit ein freundlicher Umgangston notwendig ist.

Fragen stellst du am besten hier, aber die meisten Wikipedianer und auch ich helfen dir gerne. Solltest du bestimmte Wörter oder Abkürzungen nicht auf Anhieb verstehen, schaue mal ins Glossar.

Wenn du Bilder hochladen möchtest, achte bitte auf die korrekte Lizenzierung und schau mal, ob du dich nicht auch in Commons anmelden möchtest, um die Bilder dort zugleich auch den Schwesterprojekten zur Verfügung zu stellen.

• Thank-you for leaving a friendly, exemplary message. I don't know how I should start, maybe by introducing myself more than it writes on my user page. First of all my name Bahar means spring, actually, in Turkish, spring is ilkbahar (first spring) and autumn is sonbahar (last spring) but if you say bahar alone it would still mean spring.

Both of my parents are teachers in different universities, different departments. My mom's from the Faculty of Educations, Guidance and Psychological Counseling Department and my dad's from the Faculty of Humanities and Letters, Turkish Language and Literature Department. Our origins are from Selanik (Thessaloniki) but one part of my dad's is from Poland, which made me have blue eyes and blond hair. If we don't count the time before the 1st World War my mom happened to be the 1st from our family to visit Greece last year. She has been to Athens last summer for a conference that was held in the University of Athens on Student Psychology. She said that she was treated very well and some people on the streets have said 'merhaba komşum!' (hello my neighbor) and thought me 2 expressions before she left, they were 'kalimera' and 'kalispera' with it's Turkish alphabet (from my stamp collection I knew that Greece is Hellas). The last event between Turkey and Greece was probably the World Basketball Championship and Greece was able to get the match. I probably learned about Greece the first time in detail when our teachers asked us to prepare a project on any country besides Turkey for the World Fair and I had picked Greece just because the countries are neighbors geographically and my brother and his classmates had defended Greece at THIMUN which is an annual conference in the Hague, Holland (the largest UN simulation for the high school students in the world). A research on 'Do the Turkish like the Greek?' had done recently in Istanbul and 79% of the subjects have said 'Yes, I do' and Greece's Foreign Affairs Minister Dora Bakoyani was very surprised but I couldn't understand why. Both cultures have lived together for centuries and there is no need for prejudgement. Nothing changes at a positive way when there's prejudgement among different people. Even in our school books they sometimes 'approach the lines' as telling about Greece, France, England, Italy... (the countries who fought for land at the time) as enemies and after that for the last sentence 'today two countries live peacefully' which drives me crazy and see this as a double-dealing. Everybody should first know how to be a human with his values and should not be forced about their customs and beliefs. We can not change the history and the circumstances for that time needed what Atatürk did. I feel very lucky because my family and our family's members that are not alive today were profoundly educated properly and educated us and knew that not everything is money. Last night we were at one of our relatives wedding, you probably know how weddings are in Turkey and when the 'Thrace and Rum' (the Greek who live in Turkey) type of music was over my cousin suddenly said 'you found your origins', she usually jokes with me such as I'm from Ankara or the US. At Athens my mom has seen that they were making 'Greek coffee' and she started to wonder about it than when the 'Turkish coffee' was served she has been surprised. I think if which region presents it more well-flavored and serves it characteristically it's theirs and İ think there's no problem if it's called Greek coffee because we don't give the importance to it really. Same for the Greek singer Helena who sang in the Eurovision Song Contest with the Black Sea type of music. Many classmates of mine said that it's not fair and it's our music (laz), she copy- cated and I said that music is universal and there isn't a rule such as you could just use your own traditional music and also said that it was a very nice song with it's tune. The tourist who visit look more optimist to our country, maybe because they are really optimist or they don't know all the truths about the past and now. I think it's weird that when people go to other countries suddenly their ideas and what they say become more important and interesting while it's not as important as it is at you own country. My dad has never visited Europe, just lived in the US for 11 years (my mom and brother for 12 years, İ was born then) because he doesn't want to see how far the European is while we were maybe at a better position a few decades ago.
