East Durham & Houghall Community College also known locally as "The College," is located in the outskirts of Durham proper in Peterlee, County Durham, England. The College also operates a sister facility in Seaham, County Durham.

East Durham & Houghall Community College provides specialized training and education to around two thousand full-time and twenty thousand part-time students, specifically targeting at-risk youth from the surrounding area. The 400 acre campus at The College includes a variety of facilites ranging from a full scale plant nursery, arboretum, gormet restaurant to two functional beauty and hair salons.
Along with skills training, academics are complemented by a developed Student Athlete Programme aimed at providing well-rounded health education to participants. The programme includes full basketball, rugby, cricket and footbal teams that provide a variety of competitive opportunities (friendly, league, cup fixtures) but the major focus is on individual skill development as opposed to team organisation.
