Echigo Line

The Echigo Line (越後線 Echigo-sen?) is a Japanese rail line operated by East Japan Railway Company(JR East) that runs between Kashiwazaki and Niigata City in Niigata Prefecture. The name of the line comes from Echigo Province, the former name of Niigata Prefecture.
