Ecosse
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ecosse is French for "Scotland". Often displayed on Scottish cars to indicate its nationality, Ecosse stickers often feature the blue and white flag of Saint Andrew, the patron saint of Scotland.
Across the EU (European Union), it is legally required for vehicles to display their nationality in the form of a rear bumper (tailgate) sticker when travelling outside their home country. Because Scotland is a part of Great Britain, itself part of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the legally recognised sticker that Scottish cars should display is the GB.
