Ed George

Edward Gary George (born August 10, 1946 in Norfolk, Virginia) is a former offensive lineman for the Montreal Alouettes from 1970-1974 and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats from 1979-1980 of the Canadian Football League. He won two Grey Cups for the Alouettes and played in another for the Tiger-cats.
George was selected in the fourth round of the 1970 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers after a stellar career at Wake Forest University, but opted to go to Canada. He played in 1975 for the Baltimore Colts and from 1976-1978 for the Philadelphia Eagles of the NFL.
George was inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 2005.
