Ed Husmann was an American college and professional football player. He played college football at the University of Nebraska, and played professionally in the American Football League for the Houston Oilers from 1961 through 1965. He was an American Football League All-Star in 1961, when the Oilers won their second American Football League Champioship, and in 1962 and 1963. He had previously played in the NFL for the Chicago Bears and the Dallas Cowboys. During his college and professional career, Husmann played every line position, offensive and defensive, except for center.
