Ed Newman

Ed Newman (born June 4, 1951 in Woodbury, New York) is a former american football guard who played 12 seasons from 1973 to 1984 for the Miami Dolphins in the National Football League.
Newman was an All-American in Duke University and was drafted in the sixth round of the 1973 NFL Draft.
He was a four time Pro Bowl selection from 1981 to 1984. In 1988, Newman was elected district court judge in Miami.
Newman has been inducted into the Jewish Sports Hall of Fame in the Wingate Institute, outside of Netanya, in Israel.Greendesk 19:09, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
