[edit] Dominion Virginia Power
Generally, you need to write the text first and then add images. otherwise, it makes it look like the entire article is going to consist of just a picture. Vandal patrollers like me see stuff like that and think "vandalism" because it's a common vandalism tactic. I restored the page and I added text, a link and a stub template. --Woohookitty(cat scratches) 21:22, 18 December 2005 (UTC)
- Good thing to do to learn how things are generally done here is to just look around. Read as many articles as you can. What I often did when I first started is that I would read an article, look at the history and then pick the link that goes to the creation of the article, so you can see what was put up first. It'll give you a good guide as to how to create articles. We have a steep learning curve, so whatever you can learn will help you. If you need any help, let me know. --Woohookitty(cat scratches) 21:32, 18 December 2005 (UTC)
- Thank you. I edit mainly at Wikinews, where what time I do contribute to on-line activities is mostly done there. I am working on a Black Vulture bird population article on Wikinews which happens to be in the vicinity of this power plant, so I thought I'd post the picture to Wikipedia while I was at loading other pictures, so I am sorry you misunderstood my intentions and do understand your reasoning. Actually, I am glad you are alert. Best regards -Edbrown05 22:01, 18 December 2005 (UTC)
