Ed Gerck, Ph.D.
Dr. Gerck received his doctorate in physics (Dr.rer.nat.) from the Ludwig -Maximilians-Universitaet and the Max-Planck-Institut fuer Quantenoptik in Munich, Germany, 1983, with maximum thesis grade ("sehr gut"). He also has titles of Electronic Engineer (1977) and Master of Science (1978) from the Instituto Tecnologico de Aeronautica (ITA/CTA), Brazil.
Areas of interest include physics, quantum physics, cryptography, information security, secure email, trust in human-, machine-, and heterogeneous-based communication processes, online voting, usability, and convenience in Internet security applications. More information at [1]
