Edison College is a community college for Southwest Florida, based in Fort Myers, Florida, and named after inventor and industrialist Thomas Edison, who has lived in Fort Myers during the winter months. The college campuses are located in Lee, Charlotte, Collier and Hendry Counties.
Edison College offers A.S., A.A. and B.A.S. degrees. The college also takes 11th and 12th Grade Dual Enrollment students from Lee County School District high schools.
Edison College is also home to the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall, which hosts plays, shows, and concerts.
