Edison Misla Aldarondo

Edison Misla Aldarondo served for twenty-five years as Representative from San Juan's 4th District (1977-2002), as House Minority Leader (1989-1993), as House Vice-President (1993-2001), and as House Speaker (1997-2001).
In 2004, he was convicted of intoxicating his stepdaughter and her 17-year-old friend and attempting to rape the friend. He was sentenced to 10 years for attempted rape and received a pair of three-year sentences for the lesser charges, to be served simultaneously.
