Edmonton Mercurys

The Edmonton Mercurys were an intermediate senior-A ice hockey team that played in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada in 1940s and 50s. Known as the Forgotten Team, the Mercurys won the 1950 World Hockey Championship in London, England, and the 1952 Olympic gold medal in Oslo, Norway - the last Canadian team to win the gold until 2002.
The Mercurys were inducted into the Canadian Olympic Hall of Fame in 2002.
