Edmonton Ski Club

Edmonton Ski Club(ESC) is located on Connors Hill, in the heart of downtown Edmonton(Alberta Canada). The top of the hill yields a great view of the downtown core behind the Muttart Conservatory. Edmonton ski club is a small ski club it was the first ski hill in Edmonton, and is still the closest to downtown. While not as large as other local hills, it offers a great variety of terrain for beginners and experts alike.

Edmonton Ski Club has a team of qualified, certified ski and snowboard instructors to help skiers and snowboarders of all levels imrove their skills. Whether you're new to the slopes, or have been enjoying them for years, a private lesson can help you enjoy your pastime even more.

Ski and Snowboard Day Camps
Edmonton Ski Club camps during school breaks offer participants age 7 and up a one-hour formal lesson in the morning, on-going tips to polish technique, fun stuff throughout the day and responsible supervision by our qualified instructors. Complete food service is available through the ESC concession, but bag lunches are also welcome.
Campers should be dropped off at 9AM and picked up at 4PM each day.

Discover Skiing or Snowboarding
Never had the chance to try skiing or snowboarding? This program is designed especially for you! The package includes:
- 1.5 hour group lesson
- Full day equipment rental
- Full day lift ticket

Two sessions are available:
- Wednesdays at 6PM
- Sundays at 11AM
Rates
- Discover Skiing is open to anyone age 4 and up, and costs $30.00.
- Discover Snowboarding is open to anyone age 7 and up, and costs $40.00.

Ski and Snowboard Skill Development
These three-week programs are designed to help people who have skied or snowboarded before improve their skills on the snow.
Dates and Times
Saturday sessions are at 11AM or 1PM. Sunday sessions are at 1PM. The following sessions are available this season:

Juvenile and Junior Racing
The juvenile and junior racing programs are designed for athletes who are interested in developing their overall skiing skills and racing technique. Programs are available for new and experienced racers aged 11 and up.
Our experienced, qualified coaches help all racers improve their skiing while providing a fun and safe training and racing environment.
Race Schedule
The race schedule varies depending on the age and program of the racer. Full information can be found at Alberta Alpine's Website.
Fees
Fees are between $575 and $750, plus an ESC season pass. Training Times Training takes place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 6:30 to 8:30 and Saturday mornings 9:30 to 12:30 at ESC. There are also additional training opportunities in the mountains.

Racing programs are run under the supervision and auspices of The Edmonton Alpine Ski Racing Society a nonprofit society not affiliated with the Edmonton Ski Club.

Nancy Greene Ski League
The Nancy Greene Ski League provides an introductory racing program for athletes 10 years and under. Coaches provide guidance in the development of basic, intermediate and advanced skiing and racing technique.

Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 Saturday mornings from 9:30 to 12:30
Fees These are the fees for this year, plus ESC Season Pass and parent membership:
