Eigo de Shabera Night (英語でしゃべらナイト Eigo de shabera naito) is a Japanese talk show by NHK. The show began in 2002 and is ongoing. As the title suggests, English is the language used in the show with Japanese hosts interviewing British and American celebrities, such as Noel Gallagher and Colin Farrell. Before April 2006 the show used to air on Mondays at 11:15 pm. Currently it airs every Friday at 11:00 pm.
Pakkun Eiken (パックン英検) is a section where Patrick Harlan explains a certain word in English, after which the word is asked in a quiz. Other sections of the show include London Online and Shijou Saikyou!? no Eigo Purojekuto (史上最強!?の英語プロジェクト).
The opening song of the show is "Help!" (performed by Love Psychedelico) and the ending song is "A Hard Day's Night" by The Beatles. The original version of "Help!" performed by The Beatles was used as the opening song until March 2006.

[edit] Trivia
- The Japanese title of the show, Eigo de Shabera Naito, is a word play featuring a shortened version of the Japanese expression nai to ikenai which means "have to" or "must". In this sense the title means "eigo de shaberanai to [ikenai]" or "have to speak English". The word "naito" means night, adding to the word play since the show airs at 11:00 pm.
