I was born in 1973. As a U.S. military brat I lived and went to school in a number of places including Maryland, Florida, Andalusia (Spain), Panama and Munich. I graduated from Penn State University in 1995.

My editing interests range fairly freely. I am interested in Germanic history and culture; general European and world history; the German language; Asatru; ancient and modern military history; mathematics; physics; geology; oceanography; climate; and geography.

My name, "EikwaR", is a construct with the sense: "one who has the attributes of oak" in Proto-Germanic.
