Eimsbüttel

Eimsbüttel is a greater district of the seven districts (Bezirke) in Hamburg, Germany. Itself is split into nine quarters (Stadtteile): Eidelstedt, Eimsbüttel, Harvestehude, Hoheluft-West, Lokstedt, Niendorf, Rotherbaum, Schnelsen and Stellingen.
Located within this district is the University of Hamburg and the former Jewish quarter Grindel.
As in 2002, the district measured 50,1km² and 243.599 inhabitants.
