Einstein Bros. Bagels
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Einstein Bros. Bagels is a bagel and coffee chain in the United States that is headquartered in Golden, Colorado. As of 2006, there are 424 restaurants with the Einstein Bros. name.
Einstein Bros. originated in South Florida from a concept by John Offerdahl. Offerdahl, a Miami Dolphins linebacker, created a series of bagel restaurants that were purchased by Boston Market, which then evolved into Einstein Bros. Offerdahl currently owns several Offerdahl Cafes in South Florida, all which are similar to Einstein's; they are, however, owned separately from Einstein Bros.
Currently, Einstein Bros. are owned by New World Restaurant Group, which also owns Noah's Bagels, Manhattan Bagel, Chesapeake Bagel Bakery, and New World Coffee.
