Talk:Ekiga

The entire Problems section is a rant, and most definitely violated the NPOV. It should be cleaned up or removed.
- Agreed. I've removed the section. I think the article could benefit from a Problems section, but this wasn't the way to do it. Mindmatrix 13:36, 3 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Encryption?
Does Ekiga support encrypted conversations? I take it it doesn't because the FAQ doesn't mention anything about it, but I'd prefer to confirm. If it doesn't, that should be mentioned. - Taxman Talk 15:38, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
- No it doesn't. Greenman 13:57, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] University in Belgium
Why is "Université catholique de Louvain" written in the text? The university is in the Dutch (to be more precise flamish) speaking part of Belgium, the homepage of the university does not even have a french translation, only an English one. I suggest to write the Dutch name and add the English translation in brackets. --BenediktWildenhain 17:03, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
- Because it's a French university? Greenman 13:57, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
The University of Leuven (Louvain in french) is a flemish university, the french part split from it some decades ago and moved to a new town, Louvain-la-neuve, and it is called Catholic University of Louvain, as Sandras most likely is a francophone, I assume the article is right and he studied in the french, not the flemish, university.
[edit] Pronunciation?
How does one properly pronounce the title? (Small audio clips welcome.) Thanks, GChriss <always listening><c> 19:26, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Name Change
The article should explain when (and why?) the name was changed from GnomeMeeting. Does it mean anything in English? MMcCallister 15:41, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
