This is my user page.
I am fully aware that the tautological opening sentence above is not particularly useful or informative for the reader. However, it constituted a nice and fulfilling first test of how the wiki works. It also sounds pleasant and reassuring in its simple and direct solidity, in particular when considering the unnecessarily baroque verbosity which typically characterizes my prose. Last but not least, it is a classical overture and I believe it is important to pay homage to such a well-established and honoured tradition.
I am relatively new to wikipedia, so any well-meaning help and advice will be sincerely appreciated!
The sober minimalism of this user page should definitely not be interpreted as a silent criticism of the colourful user pages embellished with pictures, userboxes and other eye-striking paraphernalia. Truly, I would like very much to decorate my page as well with such fashionable objects but I am too lazy for such an effort.
