Home to a distinguished music and theater program, El Cerrito has also produced its share of professional athletes. MLBers Pumpsie Green, Chris Roberson, and Les Cain graduated from El Cerrito, as well as NBA player Drew Gooden, NFLers [1], Jamir Miller and Lamont Thompson. Track and field Olympian Roddy Lee competed for the Republic of China, and current Junior Olympic Team brothers Kyle and Kyson Bunthuwong are hoping to compete in the 2008 Beijing Games.
