El Universal is a major Mexican newspaper.
El Universal was founded by Félix Palavicini and Emilio Rabasa on October 1916. The circulation of the print edition of El Universal is more than 300,000 readers and is considered one of the most influential and widely read newspapers in Mexico City. According to Alexa.com, the online version of the paper is one of the most visited webpages in Mexico.
