Elisabeth Eaves

Elisabeth Eaves (born 1971 in Vancouver, British Columbia) is author of Bare: On Women, Dancing, Sex, and Power (Knopf 2002, ISBN 0-375-41233-6), a non-fiction book about stripping. She worked as a stripper in the Lusty Lady peep show in Seattle, an establishment that had considered (and ultimately rejected) unionization for its workers. She has a Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University and is a professional journalist. An excerpt of her book can be found at her Bare: The Book website.
