Elizabeth McMaster

Elizabeth McMaster (1847-1903) was a Canadian humanitarian and head of the committee which founded the Hospital for Sick Children.[1]
She was born in Toronto and married Samuel Fenton McMaster who was a nephew of William McMaster,[1] a Senator and the namesake of McMaster University. In her forties, she trained to become a nurse in Chicago.[1]
