Elizabeth Power is a British actress, best known for her work on British television.

One of her first television roles was in the BBC science fiction series Doctor Who and the Silurians in 1970. She went on to appear in the BBC drama series Softly Softly (1973); Lillie (1978) and Juliet Bravo (1981).
Power is probably most famous for playing the role of the lonely divorcee, Christine Hewitt, in the BBC soap opera EastEnders. Her character was introduced in 1992 as the mistress of Arthur Fowler (Bill Treacher). Power left the role in 1993.
Power has subsequently appeared in the horror film Tale of the Mummy (1998) and twice in the BBC medical soap Doctors (2001; 2004).
In 2003 she appeared on stage in Trevor Baxter's adaptation of The Picture of Dorian Gray, which toured the UK.

Power was once married to the British television personality Michael Aspel. Their marriage ended in 1994 when it was revealed that Aspel was having an affair with Irene Clark. The couple have one child together.[1]
